Have a passion for machinery, interested in agriculture and love problem-solving? Then a career as an agricultural mechanic could be for you.

An initial test period of 3 months applies, the ideal candidate will have the option of pursuing the apprentice scheme either via Solas or Higher level approved Massey Ferguson/Agco Apprenticeship scheme ( depending on ability).

Candidates need to have technical ability and must be good at solving problems. Good communication skills are also necessary in order to explain to customers how machinery works and to discuss faults and repairs.

Note: after the initial interview the successful candidate will be subject to a more intense  interview which will include a practical element.

Hours of work;

Monday to Friday with flexible overtime to suit business demands, this will be seasonally, evening and weekends.
