Due to expansion and renovation of our Loughrea Depot, a position has been created in our parts department
The right candidate will work as member of our parts team, to manage inventory and supply of parts to mechanics in our busy workshop. They will work closely with the workshop manger to ensure that the right parts are available when needed.
Applicants with prior dealership experience in front and back counter operations will have a distinct advantage although the right candidate without experience will also be considered. Good IT skills necessary.
- Manage inventory and supply of parts to workshop
- Work closely with workshop manager to ensure that right parts are available when required
-Identify the correct parts needed for the repairs
-Pre pick parts for scheduled work
-Ensure all parts are booked out to the correct job
-Minimize downtime and help keep repairs on schedule
-Order new parts, track inventory levels, and maintain records
- Help to ensure customer satisfaction
-Assist with front counter part sales when required
- Adhoc duties when required
Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
Knowledge of farm machinery and grass machinery is an advantage
Excellent IT and Microsoft office skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
