Reporting to the Dealer Principal, you will be required to promote and sell the commercial ground care products at Whelans such as Kubota, Wessex, Honda and Husqvarna between our offices in Kilrush, Ennis & Loughrea.
You will be required to visit all customers in your territory, to understand their needs and promote both our business and yourself in a positive manner. You will need to manage the sales process from enquiry through to sale and delivery, and will be required to achieve a number of sales targets.
The potential candidate must have experience working within the agriculture industry and will ideally have a sales background in the groundcare industry. The role demands a self-motivated person who can work on their own initiative, but can also adopt the ethos of the group sales team. A positive attitude and friendly character is of high importance for this role.
The primary responsibilities will be:
Customer orientation with strong communication skills vital. IT and numerate skills necessary. Full driving license required. Ability to exercise professional discretion important.
Training provided in sales techniques, as well as our range of products. Basic salary, commission and sales targets will form the overall remuneration package. Company vehicle provided.
